Question # 1. What are the deposit and pick up time for passport and visa forms?

Answer. Applications are accepted between 9.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon everyday, except on official Canadian and Pakistani holidays.

Question # 2. What are the fees?

Answer. Please refer to the application forms on the consular services page.

Question # 3. Can I pay through credit card or cash?

Answer. No, fees are only accepted in shape of certified cheque or money order.

Question # 4. How long does it take to process an application?

Answer. Usual turn around time is about 7 business days. However, in-case of urgency or emergency you can get your passport or visa within 24 hours.

Question # 5. I have lost my passport. How can I apply for the new one?

Answer. In case of lost passport, the respective diplomatic mission will require the following:
1) Police report stating the loss of passport.
2) 3 passport size photographs.
3) Required fees ($128 for the first loss, $256.00 for the second loss).

Question # 6. Can I get my documents attested through the high commission or consulate general?

Answer. Yes, you can get your Pakistani documents attested. A fee of $ 20.00 would be charged for each document.
