Libra needs to be admired. Don't weigh compliments before
delivering them. Hand them over on a silver platter to be gobbled
up-but don't make the mistake of being too obvious. You must be sincere
and not pay the routine or cliché compliment. (For example,
don't make the mistake one man did of telling a beautiful Libran model,
who made her living exhibiting her lovely hands on TV commercials,
that she had lovely hands. She knew that, and was thoroughly bored.)
Compliment a smart man on his physique, a beautiful woman on her intelligence.
That way you won't be parroting what's been said a hundred times before.
Don't forget: Libra loves luxury. If you give a gift, make it a memorable one. Sterling silver, fourteen-carat gold, Lalique crystal, tiny diamonds, French champagne. The Libra woman adores jewelry, especially ornate pieces. When you go out on a date, don't le the vulgar problem of expense intrude. Take the Libran to a fine restaurant, a show, a concert, an art gallery. Show that you too have good taste. Consider the ambiance. Librans are strongly responsive to atmosphere. Choose quiet places with subtle, discreet lighting. If you bring him to your apartment for dinner, serve a meal that a gourmet will dote on (even if you have to order it sent up beforehand from a great restaurant!). Make sure that your Libra is surrounded with glamour and "class." And when the delicious moment arrives, make certain that the surroundings are equal to the occasion. If you can't afford satin sheets and subtle lighting, at least put some thought into the production. Music is an aid. So is champagne. It doesn't have to be all Busby Berkeley, but you must provide a proper setting. After
that, beauty is as beauty does!
