Gemini Dislikes

In the first minute you'll feel as if you've known Gemini forever. Conversation overflows with ideas, witticisms, interesting experiences. You're laughing before you know it. Life seems much more exciting than just before you met.
I try to have two Gemini people at my party because then I don't worry about its being a success. Gemini won't allow a group to slide off into apathy. Their vibrant magnetism can light up a room like a pinwheel of lights, and they treat boredom like a personal enemy.

It's always best to keep Gemini from guessing. They are piqued by uncertainty. Try making a date in which he or she won't know where you're going until you get there. And make sure it isn't too disappointing when you do! Wining and dining with Gemini is never enough; it should be a new or unusual place. It needn't be expensive (though Gemini won't mind that), but it definitely has to be different.

Be alert and lively if you want to attract Gemini to you. Don't let on too soon that you are fascinated by them. They prefer a little mystery and are tantalized by those who hold something in reserve, indicating that they have secret depths or undisclosed meanings. Remember: Gemini is eternally curious.

The key word is imagination. Take him or her to that really exceptional party where celebrities are guests or where brilliant conversation or fun games will be played. If all else fails, try a masquerade party. The ingenuity required to create a really striking costume will intrigue Gemini.

Don't pass up daytime events such as art museums-especially private showings-afternoon concerts or library exhibits. Gemini is an intellectual!

On a date avoid the routine neighborhood movie or restaurant. Go roller-skating or to a roller derby, play miniature golf, watch a lacrosse match, attend an offbeat lecture on yoga. Introduce Gemini to those "socially awkward" friends whose genuine qualities no one has ever been able to bring out. Gemini will soon have them displaying facets of their character and revealing things about their background that not even you suspected.

Let Gemini do the talking. They are spontaneous self-starters, and all you have to be is a good listener. Wear them out with listening, and they'll talk themselves into falling in love with you.

When you're going out, try to put on that celebrated Gemini duality to work for you. Never plan a dinner or a movie. Plan both. If Gemini male can't afford to pick up a dinner check, suggest ice cream afterward or a late snack and coffee. When you're talking about the movie you've just seen (or whatever), don't be reluctant to begin a few amorous preliminaries. Geminis of both sexes know how to keep two interesting activities going at one and the same time!

By all means, cultivate their family. Be agreeable if they suggest an evening watching home movies or if they trot out the family album of photographs. You can always turn on the hi-fi. Gemini won't mind, for they can pay attention to both.

If you have extremis or fanatical convictions in either religion or politics, you won't get along well with Gemini. They see everybody's side of the question all too clearly. They are liberal and tolerant by nature, and narrowminded people won't get far with them.

Geminis love to gossip, so save up what juicy tidbits you read in newspapers or magazines or hear about friends and acquaintances. They will weigh in with some occasional scathing comments, especially in the sphere of morality, but don't take it that seriously. It isn't a clue to how Gemini will behave when you pop the proposition to her or let him know you're willing to hear him pop it. They hold one set of opinions about others' behavior and an entirely different one about their own.

Don't expect them not to kiss and tell, however. They will.
